This past weeked, Shinji closed VCUarts Theatre's production of Macbeth3 (originally adapted by Lisa Wolpe) as Lady Macbeth #1. The show had one weekend in the Newdick Theatre and one outside in the Knoll, and this process certainly has been a lesson in adaptability. It was so rewarding to be working on Shakespeare for the third time already this year, and to be playing such a dream role. Director Mary Hodges brought her artistic style to the piece, and the cast worked heavily with viewpoints and Suzuki to create this stylized performance.
